Ed supports some of the world’s well-regarded law firms, private equity houses, family offices, and HNWs. He is trusted to protect them, their people, and their assets and provide them with the cross-border intelligence they require to make well-informed decisions.
He has supported clients globally, leading complex intelligence and security assignments in the UK and abroad; working for high-profile individuals and internationally recognised brands.
Prior to founding Marengo, Ed spent 12 years in the security and intelligence sector and served as a reconnaissance officer in the British Army.
Edward Nicole

General Sir Adrian Bradshaw KCB OBE DL served for 37 years in the Regular Army, in Armour, Aviation, and Special Forces. He commanded forces on operations around the world, including in Northern Ireland, the Balkans, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
His leadership roles included commanding an Armoured Battlegroup in Bosnia, an Armoured Brigade in Iraq, the UK Special Forces Group during global operations, and UK Land Forces. He concluded his Regular Army service as NATO’s Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
He is currently Governor of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, a pilot in the RAF Volunteer Reserve, a former Chairman of Blesma, a Visiting Professor at King’s College London, and a Senior Associate Fellow at RUSI.
He regularly moderates international private conferences at Head of State/Government level on countering Islamist extremism and is a frequent speaker on Defence and Security.
General Sir Adrian Bradshaw KCB OBE DL

Nick served with the SAS for 20 years, notably during the Falklands War. In the Gulf, he operated behind enemy lines as a mobility expert. In Latin America he made a significant and sustained contribution to the UK's military assistance programme to the Government of Colombia in its campaign against narco-terrorism. Throughout his career he has worked closely with government agencies, principally in counterterrorism.
On leaving the British Army, Nick was appointed Security Director of a major US-Mexican banking consortium. He was responsible for corporate security, risk and crisis management across the group. He also directed the operations and training of the protection teams responsible for the group's senior executives and their families.
A fluent Spanish speaker, Nick has worked with high-net-worth individuals internationally, with particular depth in Central America. He was formerly retained as a kidnap negotiator by a leading kidnap response organisation and presents regularly on kidnap prevention.
Nick Nash

Florence served in the Royal Navy for 12 years, latterly as a Logistics Officer supporting UK and NATO maritime operations worldwide, often in complex geopolitical settings.
She was the first and remains the only woman ever appointed as Adjutant to a Royal Marines Commando unit, a role demanding hard work, sound judgement and precision. As Operations Manager at Marengo, she brings the same discipline to all of our projects; delivering reliable and efficient operational support.
Florence Maddock-Greene

Mathew brings over 30 years of expertise from his distinguished service in the Metropolitan Police. He has worked in covert policing, counterterrorism, and high-level armed security, collaborating with UK Special Forces and the Ministry of Defence to combat organised crime and terrorism.
A key contributor to the Counterterrorism Operations Centre (CTOC), he specialised in command and control for high-profile national events, including leading armed policing operations for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. His expertise includes covert surveillance, hijack and siege scenarios, hostage rescue, close target reconnaissance, and advanced driving.
Mathew Davis

Charlie has spent over 25 years leading expert teams of former government specialists, delivering solutions for government officials, corporations, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and lawyers. Previously, he served over 20 years in the UK military and has worked across military, security, and intelligence agencies with the highest level of security clearance.
An industry expert in corporate and financial intelligence, Charlie is regularly asked to speak at high-profile seminars. He specialises in asset tracing, reputation management, enhanced due diligence, and pre-market analysis. His global human intelligence network provides insights beyond conventional sources, helping clients avoid costly mistakes and seize opportunities.
